Well, this is the culmination of about a month's work. However, it's not just that.
The systems are what took the most time--crafting those and their UI to work well and be scalable is the vast bulk of that. I also took about a 2 week break in that month, so, yeah. However, pretty much every single thing you "see" in this demo(the individual things like each resource, unlock, and upgrade) was created in the past 2 days. I've made good architecture, enough to whip this up from the basis.
This game is inspired by orb of creation. Go play it. It's awesome. It's on itch for free, somehow. It is completely worth your time to play, especially if you like my game at all.
